ST, would agree with your post as my approach to CNBC is as you posted Soap Opera. CNBC is on mute most of the time and I switch also to CNNfn or Bloomberg who are a bit more balanced.

As to Ted David I also agree with you and he deserves to be complimented not only for his SI responses but also his appearance on the set.

As to the remaining of my remarks many people do invest or trade on CNBC and loose money.

As to my other remarks, well just read the news.

Never posted here before, but must say I am in agreement with you. CNBC is in the sales business, plain and simple. While not doubting Maria B's intelligence or financial acumen, it should be pretty clear what her primary attributes are to the viewing public.
Anything you view or hear on CNBC or any other channel should come with a "caveat emptor". To paraphrase Ted David, it should be a springboard for one's DD.
To the person who has said he tunes out CNBC, that's his choice. Like it or not, if you are a trader, you need to be dialed into CNBC.
