I agree, they ought to scrap campaign finance reform entirely. If it were not for the bribe, the limits on hard money would not altogether pass scrutiny. They betray, in any case, a fundamental misunderstanding of the nature of democracy, and the way in which the competition among factions is supposed to check the power of any one, and encourage the building of coalitions that increase the value of each constituent group. A disdain for the messiness of party politics is a precursor of dictatorship.......

I am sorry that the reform of Social Security is becoming a joke.......

If we could reduce the power of congress to the proper level that the Constitution provides, we could solve the problem of campaign finance. Just a pipedream!!!
