I suspect the PPT is GS as they have spent $5+B on a new electronic trading system that is said to be totally computerised with no human intevention... Yeah right, I bet they tell at least to go long or short...

So if they spent $5+B on the system how much $$ are they using to manipulate the market?

that's a misconception...they're using OTHER people's money, so they have this odd principle of buying no matter what happens. stocks go up, they and you (the investor in the funds) win. stocks go down, YOU lose.
