Mephisto, i think you're wrong about Barron's motivation to run the story, but then who knows really. anyway, pooling of interests is something CSCO does all the time. it's a method of obscuring the real cost of acquisitions.

and with regards to perfection, the stock is priced for it. that is the issue...in the end the question that needs to be answered is whether it really makes sense to pay 30 times revenues and 180 times earnings for it.
