Reminds me of the movie Amadeus. You seem to be playing the role of the court composer. <G>

<<I'm more inclined to trust the judgement of an educated adult, than an personally ambitious high school student.>>

This conversation has really descended into the inane...nevertheless I couldn't resist sharing the following trivia with you: One of the well accepted social consequences of going to medical school is that, in addition to (or as a consequence of) "delayed gratification", most med students suffer from arrested social development... usually behaving 4 years the lesser.

Since med school in Germany begins right after high school, then Tommy boy could likely be considered Anand's social peer. Adult? Not.

FWIW.

Scumbria, <I'm more inclined to trust the judgement of an educated adult, than an personally ambitious high school student. I've never seen any indication that Anand knows what he is talking about.>

Had I not known the ages and backgrounds of either of the two, I would have assumed that AnandTech was run by a thirty-something doctor, and Tom's Hardware Guide was run by a high-school student. Have you seen the tone of Tom's recent articles? It's like Mike Magee of The YUK Register took over as editorial director. Meanwhile, Anand has proven time and time again that he can keep a much more professional demeanor than people almost twice his age.

It's very strange that you are calling Tom Pabst an "educated adult," because his articles as of late sound no more refined than flame mail from your average AOL kid. But I guess it all depends on what your definition of "educated adult" is. ;-)
