well, it's not as small as it appears on this chart, as time is compressed on it. after all you're looking at 100 years worth of data altogether. unfortunately the only information we can glean from it is that the current cycle is already quite extended. but for all i know it could get even more extended before finally reversing. there does seem to be a spike top of sorts, but maybe the ratio makes another run to a new high. FWIW, that's not my bet...currently i do think it has topped. i'm just trying to keep an open mind...
