Mike,

I have remained fully invested over the last 7 years, except for my play fund of 5% cash using which I buy options where volatility is really, really high - like now. As a matter of fact, my accounts are up by 10-50% over YoY. Only those who tried to time the market or go long on margin were wiped out. Those who left it to the market did just fine.
