Tony, re: Compaq's Wildfire, Thanks for the link to the article, Tony. Did you notice that those Wildfire servers are being sold in configurations ranging from 8-way to 32-way, and at price points between $100K and $2M? Wow, talk about high-margin, low-volume stuff. Also, those servers will be featuring the Alpha EV67 running at 729 MHz. Those EV68 processors running at 1 GHz or more (the ones Rob Young is all excited over) are expected "within a year."
