Yeah, I like Zydeco. I discovered it later in life so it's not in my bones like the others. If you like Andean folk music, try the CD Fortaleza by a group of the same name. As far as I know, it's the only CD of theirs available. The featured piece, Soy de Sangre Kolla, Quechua y Aymara, will cut right through you. Another cut, Mi Madre Tierra, has the following lyrics, apropos of our discussion on this thread. When the sun shone in the immense void and a great God created life and love.
