As I said I am holding my gold position come hell or high water. But I have given up trying to predict when a decent rally will occur.

A key problem with gold is that few or no powerful interests want to push it higher. But many want to push it lower or at least keep it from rallying much.

Oil, by contrast, has some very important players who want to see a fairly high price maintained. Ditto for the Euro and the Yen when it was on its back.
