Moore's law also applies to digital cameras. Thanks again for all of the input you and others on the thread have given me on this topic. I appreciate your words of encouragement and experience. I am heading to the camera stores tomorrow. Do you find better deals on the internet? I bought a 35mm for my daughter from an etailer and by the time I picked up all of the accessories it was significantly more expensive that what I had in mind. (of course there is a reason why some people call me easy money.) Sunny
