the author has recently sent me his CV...quite impressive as it were. he's a mathematician and his work has been quoted in almost every financial publication of note i can think of. it really is a very intensive study of market history and the predictive value of the tools developed around the p/e concept. i think it must be taken quite seriously...of course the implications are largely of importance for the longer term investment horizon. the study says nothing about near term market direction. so far it's conclusions have been right on the money, as the non-market cap weighted VGY remains mired in a bear market.
