Hi Hank:

In any traditional market, eBay is overpriced by at least a factor of 3.

However, this is not a traditional market, and eBay is the dominant leader in a space that still has a lot of room for growth.

There has always been a question of just how big this space can get. It is not infinite. I've always thought that 10 million ongoing auctions would present a wall, but it appears that for eBay, 4M is already a kind of wall.

Still, eBay could be a good acquisition for the likes of Microsoft, AOL, Yahoo, Walmart or perhaps a few others.

I would wait for next quarter's report and see how the market reacts to the worst sequential growth in eBay's history, but I also wouldn't be surprised for one of the above mentioned companies to make a bid for eBay.
