GATA's resolute like a dangling participle, gata nuts have brass'ish balls.

GATA's RollCall open letter surprised me,
as I thought it was to be another flop
like the first one in RollCall.

But no, as my above dangling might not withstand
the test of English grammer, I now wonder if the
gold colored hard balls of GATA will withstand
a continuation of a dangling after their present
standing tall and facing the danger'ing of being
too direct and open intentions towards the enemy
which they have "called out" by name.

Bill Murphy says that the other side has the
power and money, while GATA only has the truth.

Having was ok'ed by the other side, for GATA to have.
But using the truth, by GATA, was not expected
by the other side, but has now happened
in the RollCall open letter.

Surprised me, for sure,
as having gata brass balls
is only talk,
but dangling gata brass balls in public
is a whole new ball game to play
and creates an espouse'ation to others
of the dangers of a "dangling in public."

as i walk thru the valley
in the dearth's shadow
i shall fear no evil
and what it can do to me
as either i am protected or
i have nothing of value to lose
as i walk and see gata and it's foe
walking thru the valley
in the shadow
feeling fear
and no matter if either one turns
and tries to walk away
the shadow follows
as the shadow knows
that shadows now overlap
and here, the sum is greater than it's parts
while looking smaller, its more dense,
like two facing each other
each back to the wall
each cornered
one by choice
the other by chance

The Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee
has concluded that the gold market
is being recklessly manipulated
and now poses a serious risk
to the international financial system.

Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee (GATA)

... off-balance-sheet gold derivative contracts
on the books of Morgan Guaranty Trust Co.
went from $18.36 billion to $38.1 billion
in the last six months of 1999.

... far too big too be repaid back in a short time.

... Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan
and Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers
... have denied any direct involvement in the gold market
... But they have declined to address whether
the Exchange Stabilization Fund,
which is under the control of the treasury secretary,
is being used to manipulate the price of gold.

... New York bullion banks, particularly Goldman Sachs,
from which the immediate past treasury secretary,
Robert Rubin, came to the Treasury Department,
have moved to suppress the price of gold
every time it has rallied over the last year...

... believes that U.S. government officials
and these bullion banks have induced
other governments to add gold supply
to the physical market in recent years
to suppress the price...

... this "gold carry trade" is
a financial bonanza to a privileged few
at the expense of the many...

Suppressing the price of gold gives a false impression
of the U.S. dollar's strength as an international reserve asset
and a false reading of inflation in the United States...

Massive amounts of derivatives are being used
to suppress the gold price.

If this situation is not corrected soon,
there will be a gold derivative credit
and default crisis of epic proportions
that will threaten the solvency
of the largest international banks
and the world standing of the dollar...

``The possibility of them raising output in June is remote,''
said Nauman Barakat, vice president of global energy trading at
ABN Amro Inc. in New York. ``Prices are up now not because of oil
output but because of an internal U.S. gasoline issue, and it's up
to the U.S. to solve the problem.''

Gasoline rose for a fourth
day, reaching a two-month high, on expectations that a cleaner-
burning fuel required this summer for densely populated regions of
the U.S. may be in short supply when demand peaks.

Environmental laws mandate that filling stations begin
selling the summer grade of gasoline by June 1. Yet it is
difficult and costly to make.
