Dave, It will be interesting to see the new lines that the boxmakers create. Will they replace their K6 lines with Duron? I don't see how they can do that since there will still be plenty of K6s to sell. I think the supply of K6s is even tighter than Athlons. And at some point K6 will be discontinued, so the adoption of Duron seems inevitable. I think it will take some time for the Duron lines to show up though One sort of automatic design win I think will be Gateway. Right now, they are not using any K6 based computers, and the Gateway Essential line seems well suited for Duron: gateway.com Joe
