Where Are We Now?
(05/14/2000 PM): The charts I posted last week continue to be valid for their wave count forecasts. The DJIA and SPX are exhibiting a tightening of the coil pattern in which the count appears to be 1-2, 1-2, 1-2 in fractally smaller degrees. A "Coil" is a contracting triangle where the Elliott Wave counts are less like an internal corrective structue and more like our 1-2, 1-2, 1-2 scenario which resembles a mechanical time coil being wound tighter and tighter.. until its energy is released all at once.

These EW counts will remain valid unless the DJIA moves above 11141 (SPX 1483) or below 10292 (SPX 1375). The upper number negates the detailed count and the lower number confirms it. Once the coil is sprung, the next move should be a VERY fast, impulsive move DOWN!
