Oh, I've stated many times...imo, CNBC is The financial network...

I feel fortunate to have an alternate source of financial news during the Squawk hours...which happen to be kinda early, Pacific. If I were able to consistently get up at 2am for Claman and Jim, I'd be there...no question.

I catch the 5am Bartiromo pre-market spot, as a rule. I think the Mark, Joey, [as my Mom affectionatly calls him], and Faber show is geared toward a fairly specific market segment...That's all well and good, I just like the idea of having an alternative for those few hours to flip to, in between.

When Kernan is in his serious mode, he's incredible...a wealth of knowledge with a unique perspective...I love those moments...[his new golf mousepad is tres kewel, too...<G>]

In my area, Bloomberg is only on during those SB hours, and I was surprised to see how much info they present, not that it does me any good...<grin>!

"I also think their anchors throughout the whole day are top notch. It is a great business news station; it keeps your attention."

CNBC is also a phenom...it's totally unique media, and on the cutting edge of the evolving global economy.

I don't think there are any 'gurus'...just a lot of competing agendas,

-all imo.
