CALGARY, May 16 /CNW/ - Dr. Michel Fattouche, president and CEO, Cell-Loc
Inc. (TSE:CLQ), is pleased to announce that the U.S. patent office has
conditionally allowed Cell-Loc to claim the delivery of handset-based wireless
location content and services over the Internet as its property, regardless of
technological method employed. This same patent application has been filed
worldwide.
Wireless location systems are either handset-based or network-based.
Examples of handset-based wireless location systems include Enhanced Global
Positioning System such as Wireless Assisted GPS(TM) and Enhanced Observed
Time Difference (E-OTD) such as Cursor(TM) .
In addition, Cell-Loc reports that it has a patent application pending in
the U.S. patent office where it claims the delivery of network-based wireless
location content and services over the Internet as its property, regardless of
technological method employed. This same patent application has been filed
worldwide. Examples of network-based wireless location systems include Time
Difference Of Arrival (TDOA), Angle Of Arrival (AOA), and Radio Camera(TM).
