Also from the Brocade CEO article: One of Brocade's few competitors, Ancor Communications (ANCR), has agreed to be acquired by QLogic (QLGC), a maker of Fibre Channel host bus adapters and a supplier to Brocade. Why do they keep referring to QLGC as a "supplier". My understanding was that Brocade is NOT a customer of QLGC. After all, why would Brocade buy HBA's or disk controllers? They're not manufacturing storage devices or PC's. I seem to remember that H.K. also said this on one of the conference calls.
