Elizabeth Taylor Honored by Queen
LONDON (AP) - Clad in an embroidered frock coat and sitting in a
wheelchair, British-born actress Elizabeth Taylor went to
Buckingham Palace today to be made a Dame Commander of the Order of
the British Empire, the female equivalent of a knight. Queen
Elizabeth II presented Taylor with the award for services to the
entertainment industry and to charity, including her prodigious
fund raising for AIDS research.

Boy, the GITs have really been GOING! LOTS of messages...also wonder if your grandmothers bowl was like my grandmothers bowl...she used to have a big ole' porcelain bowl, and she would shell peas or snap beans for all sorts of thrashers at harvest time....This reminded me of her...THANKS! She worked all the time, but by shelling/stringing vegies, also got to smell the roses and the fresh air along the way....
KLP: harvest, rest; release; acceptance
