<the gloom & doom reports> Pretty cool sight... I hate to just look to the negative stuff, so try and read widely, but that guy's pretty erudite. Speaking of economic statistics, specifically growth, I always did wonder about the difficulty of measuring such things let alone productivity! I mean, if I cut down a tree in my back yard and sell it... it shows up as economic growth... is that such a good thing? You could argue that it should be a negative to the good will of the people.
