An Elliot Wave 3

In an Elliot Wave 3 everything is rising, both commodity and financial assets. After, Greenspan's rate rise (25 pts anyone?) it would be nice to see the golds and financials rising.

The dollar can fall substantially even-in fact, especially- if the Fed is raising interest rates, as long as the economy is slowing and overseas investors have lost faith in U.S. assets.

How much more tightening (including today) is needed for the US economy to enter a recession in 2001? 75 basis points?
