I am very disappointed that no one takes seriously my assertion that Greenspan's behavior is aimed at determining the outcome of the next presidential election. I am dead serious about this. I came to this conclusion applying a method I use for trying to understand happenings in the political arena. When the reasons given for a particular action aren't supported by the facts I ask myself what hidden agendas might account for the action. After studying Greenspan's actions over the last eight years I have reached the above conclusion. Note that for the first time a leading member of the incumbent party, Byron Dorgan, railed against Greenspan yesterday on the floor of Congress. They are beginning to get it.
