*OT* I don't have any shareprice targets anymore for
any of the biotechs I own--I guess I realized that
I own this handful of stocks on the hopeful expectation
that in time they'll deliver on some promises--and
since the timelines are long, and mainly we are trying
to buy into good management, well I threw all that
target crap away. Meltdowns do that too I guess.

A few of these stocks seem to have these storehouses
of value that maybe are not valued well by the market--
SAGE might be an example of that with Gizzmo, not that
genomics has been adding value to biotechs lately.

Keep in mind that if you take a bionewbie like me, put
him on the internet and have him surf around a for a
year--running a bunch of biojargon through the googleizer,
he is likely to end up owning a bunch of biotechs like GZMO.
I certainly don't have any special education or insight
into biotech, just trusting that my nose doesn't lead
me in the wrong direction (and that is old news for the
gang that knows me here on SI--like to mark down that
disclaimer from time to time).

So, 5k shares to vote in Boston on the 25th eh, dang,
sure wish all my biotechs would pull up their roots
in move to Seattle. (Geeze, 5k shares--I must have
got shook out of some of those between then and now,
I keep getting all these proxies with 5000 shares on
them--ha, the good old days when we could do no wrong
in biotech!)

Say, while I'm here--follow me back to the 2000 thread
and have a gander at my "list"--then feel free to PM
me with any thoughts--I suspect that I've gotten too
diversified through biotech and that my biotech fund
of sorts will now only track the biotech indexes,
cursed! There was only a short period from November
through January when I had a bunch of Ariad that I
creamed the indexes--now I think maybe I cannot beat
the sector in general.
