According to that shareholder meeting report, Sandisk IS ALREADY GETTING LICENSE PAYMENTS FROM SONY FOR MEMORY STICK This is HUGE. This means that no matter how popular Sony's Memory Stick becomes, Sandisk is getting a piece of the action! I knew that upon my reading of the Sandisk Patent (in litigation with Lexar right now) that Sony was also using the same technology. Now we have confirmation. Why Lexar doesn't settle right now, I have no idea. Perhaps they have the arrogance needed to take the whole Lexar ship down with their egos!
