GV: The investment portfolio should be valued as a multiple of book value. The core business should be valued at a multiple of either earnings or revenues, depending on how you want to look at things yes, but i'm speaking of a model to predict future YOY growth (and subsequently stock price growth) not as a formulation for determining current quarterly valuation there obviously appears to be more individuals interested in Fleck's current quarterly modeling than future modeling if today's price is any indication
