how would you have known?

I'm not beating up on myself but I know from experience that whichever way the market goes initially, there's always some retracement. That's why one of the rules of the strategy is 'wait 1 hour' before covering. A profit is a profit...no complaints...for a 1 hour investment, a fair return...but in 6 weeks when it happens again...I wait 1 hour!!!

There's another pattern I've noticed lately. If the market is generally down the 1st 3 weeks of the option month, the last week it rallies...and vice versa. Options expiration week tends to go opposite the monthly trend. So I'm not so sure we don't trend up the next 3 days (enough double negatives in there?).
