Next time I talk to someone who was farming in 1812, I'll ask them. ;^) Seriously, I don't think there were many places large enough to have barns in Illinois then. Mostly pioneers hacking 10 acres out of the woods.

Now there could have been some of those barns in say Pennsylvania in the Amish farming area. I've heard that quake rang bells in Philadelphia and that's a long way from eastern Tennessee.

Hey, y'all,
What kind of paper plates, napkins, etc, would you use for a Cast party for 40 kids in a Greek theme.
We are going to grill hamburgers- (sort of a Ground Souvlaki?)
I figure plates of grapes, cheese, baklava, a greek salad,
Anything clever to add?
I haven't thought of an easy table centerpiece yet...
