I concur with your analysis. This is way overdone
and in the long run only hurts the small guy....
middle class in my opinion. Terrible mistake...
on the part of Greenspan and Company. Especially in
insinuation that this is not the end.... or rate increases.

Gerard you know it better, this is in Fed jargon typical 'erring on the side of caution', I think by mid Aug we would be selling on fears slowing demand, however a soft landing without 92 debacle for the sititng man's party in the White House is the objective of AG.. He wants to repay Gore for the mistakes he commited against a sitting president Bush senior, the green off shoots of Fed caution appeared only late 93 by that time voter backlash had made Bush senior a history, the irony is that on receiving end is Bush junior as if Bush's have a AG curse..gg
