skeets, yes, 50 basis points on both fed funds & discount rate, plus hints that more may be needed. I guess the big rally will be in anticipation of when interest rate cuts come later in the year, or next year, or the year after, when more rallies will come, so just an anticipation rally now <g>

Skeets, "unreal" is right. "This is your brain..." comes to mind ...

Such clear, rational thought. I wish I had infinitely more Qcom now. Oh wait, I do! <g>

Skeets:

LGND is one of those companies with great potential but the stock is a different matter. Mgmt is in it for the long haul and they're interest is not always stockholders. I expect further dilution this year plus the inevitable push out to next year b/4 profits.

Can be wrong but the best way to play this stock is buy it in Nov & sell in March. Of course it does have occasional news to pump it up.

I know Mike likes it but I'd rather buy a tech high @ 70 times earnings than LGND. Or even ATHM with no earnings till 2002.

Tim

PS - Now watch them run to $25 a share.
