Yes, he never did recommend RDRAM......so why all the noise? He simply stated the outlines of the technology and its potential, its costs and its likely applicability. From all the criticism he has received it would seem he was peddling Rambus stock on the side.

I think even the most vocal Rambus bulls realize that the price needs to come down before there's widespread recommendation of RDRAM. But they're betting on the possibility that the price drop will happen.
