Word has it that ALSC has been speeding up its design process and is running ahead of schedule on several new products.

4M High Performance SRAM -- in production
4M Low Power SRAM -- in production

8M Flash currently sampling, should be in production by late this quarter.
4M Flash sampling.

16M die shrink .21u DRAM is sampling, should be in production soon.

Here's some information on the growth of the flash market:

ALSC's ability to bring flash and other new products into production should have big impact on earnings through the favorable combination of better pricing and better yields. Remember that ALSC still has additional capacity which can be dedicated to the most profitable products.

Looking at an overlay chart of ALSC & COMPX on Msn.com, (intraday chart)
I see close correlation between the two trend lines which have been normalized to percent. The relationship is more striking than most, and makes me wonder if there is a reason behind it?

Most other small caps don't exhibit this. and large caps like CSCO and INTC although showing the same trend, show less deviation.
