Today's volume was almost 3X average and I hope it was more than just momentum players. From what was said at the H&Q conference I know there was a lot of money on the side waiting for the Fed meeting, so maybe we got some serious investors along with the hit-and-runs.

As for splits, the last one was announced on Dec. 20, 1999, when the price was 218 (109 split-adjusted). Today marks a double, so it's certainly in the ballpark. It's interesting that by the time the split was effective on March 14 it had nearly doubled to 402 (201 split-adjusted). It's been a rough road from there.

I don't even want to think about being bought out.

Pat

I am in it for the potential buyout from Lu, Csco, or Glw. If Cisco buys the company, I will happily exchange my shares for Cisco's.

I don't wish anyone ill, but I have to hope you are very, very disappointed. I have no desire whatsoever to be bought out.
The very thought makes me shudder.
