Here's a hummus recipe. You can find tahini in the ethnic section of a good supermarket.

I'm from Columbus, GA--the cultural armpit of the country, and I learned to love ethnic foods only because I was given the opportunity to once I moved to Atlanta. Exploration is good.

The "for real" thing is an ebonic affectation I picked up, eg., " I tried taht hummus Mrs. W made for the Greek party --it was goood. And I'm for real."
