On CNBC this morning they talked about how components shortages are inhibiting PALM production and sales. They said the shortage problem was due to the explosion in cell phone demand. Cell phones use some of the same components such as flash memory and liquid crystal displays.

ATML is a good play for the flash memory although this play could prove ephemeral as flash will undoubtedly follow the classic route from under to over supply. The next question is: who supplies the displays? Is there a play here?
