Interesting Robert. All grist to the mill. Fundamentals seem to be swinging in the right direction. The G! steamroller is gathering momentum.

Meanwhile, I've got some PMs [many people prefer to lurk and maintain their privacy]. Here's one < So I have been watching, lurking and enjoying the gmdgm thread with great
interest. I started at post 1 and I am now up to where the discussion turns
to creating currency by controlling the number of shares via the number of
shorts. Isn't this what occurs when the federal regulators raise or lower
margin requirements? I am not sure what agency does this - is it the Fed, or
the S.E.C.? But it is my respectfully opinion that the idea of controlling
the amount of wealth by manipulating the number of shorts is not original to
this thread.

As he says, there is nothing new about this idea and indeed the margin limits are manipulated as part of the overall stock market manipulation by the Fed, brokers and others.
