PJ, IMHO this is not the case. The SE's are feel good with decent knowledge but in actuality they and the sales reps have disconnected in my area. They push you to the consulting but consulting is bad about follow up phone calls. I could see this coming for some time. Novell has gotten caught in a nasty revenue situation. They basically have lessened the emphasis on the core NOS while making the play for the DS. That is a great play as long as it works and as long as you continue to religiously support the original product. I could see from the first screwups with the IP stack and Groupwise in November that things were not as they should have been. For the first time in my career I began to get a feeling of panic when we talked about putting new service packs on Novell servers. This was and is not a good thing. The worse part about the situation was that it was two of Novell's own products. DOH. Anyway, Novell is not in my opinion very customer focused right now based on the desire to find revenue to make up for the declining NOS moneys. We saw this with Zen for Servers before they finally caved and did what was right. I am sure some of this is tangential and has been covered by earlier posts but I have been so disgusted with NOVL I have not kept up with the board like I normally do.
