Bill here are some facts and figures and commentary about the various silver stocks out there. you will note that from the peak in 1998 paas has dropped 65 % and sil only 16 %. granted, there are plenty of others that have underperformed paas.

seems to me a person would've been better off holding physical silver or a certificate (i.e. lost less).

You think the (SUBSIDIZED) Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac are short gold & silver? We know they are playing derivatives!
Could these funds of Freddie & Fannie be the bulk of what the "Plunge Protection Team" have been using?
