You are right. Why would this be a male issue? Because it's territorial (really) when you get right down to it? Maybe that's IT. This is some symbolic territorial fight (ideological territory) between a group of primates who believe Communism = good, and a group that believes Communism =bad. And there isn't a middle ground because they are too primitive to have evolved that concept. Really, I think some sociologist ought to study this, or maybe an anthropologist.
