Aus, Rocky and Art, thanks for weighing in on my camera decision. I had reached a similar conclusion about the need to add accessories to match the standard components on the Epson. I handled the S20 in a store and liked it for its size and simplicity.

I have been trying to come to grips with the 2x optical zoom and the 3.3 MPxl vs the better optics on both the epson and nikon cameras.

Pat liked the look of the epson, but frankly he is a rank novice with cameras. If I had not have asked him I probably would have bought the S20 because it is more like the point and shoot camera that he currently uses.

I will show him your responses and discuss it once again before we pull the trigger. Thanks again for sharing your experiences with me.
