Oh, poor Cat! I remember the chicken pox and it was an awful experience--nearly as bad as scarlet fever, which I had as an adult. Having a "childhood" disease when you are an adult is not only miserable; it's somehow humiliating, as though we are supposed to get rid of this stuff at the proper time.

Is there anything I can do? If so, I'll be on the next train, dear.
