ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 17 (Reuters) - Office products maker Xerox Corp.(NYSE:XRX - news), suffering from falling profits and stiff competition, has reached a marketing agreement with Dell Computer Corp. (NasdaqNM:DELL- news), the world's
second largest personal computer maker, the companies said Wednesday.

The agreement is part of a push by Xerox to spark indirect sales and calls for Dell to sell Xerox printers and accessories to itssmall business and corporate customers.

Dell immediately will begin direct marketing of Xerox-branded office printers in the United States, followed by Europe and other worldwide markets later this year, the companies said.
