Laurie, apparently he was paraded naked through downtown Freetown before being locked up. He orchestrated the recent attacks and his actions prove he is not seeking peace but power. Maybe it is time they re-instated the death penalty on this individual and place on trial all remaining RUF that failed to give up their arms - they had several months to hand over their weapons. I suspect that the illegal diamond sales provide them with a life filled with the type of thrills they would find hard to replace as part of a peaceful society - the freedom to kill, rape, injure and steal while enjoying the best drugs money can buy to heighten the experience - and not having to say your sorry or stand up to justice because the Lome Agreement says they have been excused from their past sins !
