Hello. X Sq your alarm clock is ringing but you're not waking up.

No court order to turn Elian over, hence the analogy to the Gestapo- which was the law.

Why are you trying to write revisionist history here? The 11th Circuit cannot grant what was not an issue before it. Nowhere in their order about Eli n remaining in the US was there any discussion about his custody. What is it you don't understand about the INS parole process? What is it you do not understand about the Relative's lawlessness in refusing to return Eli ncito? The INS was well within their rights to act, and considering the circumstances, to act as they did.

If there were laws broken why is it that no charges have been filed by the Relatives? How is it that Eli n is STILL living with his father?

You know the answers of course, but unfortunately they run counter to the illusion that you want to paint about setting him free by forcing him to accept asylum and sentencing him to a life away from his father.

During the revolutionary war participation in the army was voluntary
During the civil war, there was a draft

That just is not logical as an example of our deteriorating liberties.
Of course there was no draft.
The Revolutionary War was a Revolution. We weren't even a country.
