Yes, Mike. Never having met, Ray and I really did come upon each other on a sidewalk in San Diego. We were there to attend the Qualcomm annual shareholders' meeting and related get-togethers of the various online forums. Neither of us knew the other was going to be there. In fact, I didn't even realize Ray owned any Qualcomm stock.

I was walking with a couple people to a luncheon for participants of the G&K folder. Ray overheard our conversation and assumed we were going to one of the luncheons. He walked up to me, introduced himself and asked if I knew where the luncheon was. I was so excited about meeting him that way that I forgot to introduce myself and simply said, "Yes, it's a block or so away, but more important, do you still own Citrix stock?" Not having told him my name, he naturally said, "Yes, but how do you know I own Citrix stock?" I then told him who I was and we had a good laugh.

But I had an even better laugh. I immediately told him that he had gotten confused about which luncheon he was trying to find and that he'd have to settle for being my guest at the one I was attending. Naturally, everyone and especially me, was glad to have him him join us.

If you read in the San Diego newspaper a couple weeks later about the luncheon at the Napa Grille and how we spent five times as much money on wine as food, I sat next to Ray and can vouch that it wasn't his doing. :)

Totally OT

Mike and Ray- Out of curiosity, did you two really just bump into each other randomly
in San Diego? -MikeM(From Florida)

Yes, my lucky day. To think I sat next to Mike whose subject talk was "are we overvalued" and still didn't short anything. Mike is even more impressive in person and very much a gentleman.

Glad to hear that you are doing your walking early. I plat tennis at night but it is getting hot and humid even for that.

Judging by the under whelming response I have received about the meeting I guess I am "it". I will ask about the Java/HTML(web-based) model that JKB sees as such a threat and about the DSO's if they don't address it. If you think of anything else Pm me with it before 8 a.m.tomorrow.

regards,

Ray
