Do you use the CBOE or Dreyfus options chains? I always try to factor in the open interest at the strike prices of the options I want to trade. A low open interest equals less liquidity and thus more opportunity to be "messed with" . When I was looking at short puts on RMBS this morning, I originally looked at selling the 195's (at support) but the OI was low, so knocked the strike price down to the 190's, where the OI was higher. Do you look at open interest?
