Although this is the first commercial deployment of Gigabit Ethernet technology, INTRIA- HP has managed the risk by overlaying the Gigabit Ethernet solution over CIBC's existing network infrastructure to minimize any implementation issues, making certain that the new network is fully operational before the old infrastructure is removed."
