For commercial quality live TV broadcast, this is unrealistic.

True. But immediate use would be reporters on local and national news out in the field. Most of this is delayed for a short period anyhow, ("and now, a report from our man in Laguna beach on the crowds there today")

This has to be done with a very expensive truck right now.

Also, we are just at the first cut of HDR. I am sure that speeds will increase, like everything else does.
