Yes, a good synergistic relationship: With these closer ties, JMAR anticipates gaining greater access to Bede's broad portfolio of new advanced technologies. By coupling those technologies with JMAR's current X-ray and precision positioning expertise, we expect to greatly expand our opportunities to competitively manufacture and market the new, higher performance products currently demanded by today's microelectronics, optical network and biomedical producers. Examples of some of those opportunities already communicated to us by current customers include a unique and potentially bountiful array of exciting new X-ray-powered products for such applications as nanotomography, for imaging the interior of semiconductor chips in order to locate and examine minute details of their circuitry; elemental mapping and detection of nano-impurities on semiconductor wafer surfaces; macromolecular structure analysis for the biomedical/pharmaceutical industries; and radiobiology studies of the human aging and DNA repair processes.
