Globespan Semi (GSPN) 99 9/16 +1 1/2: Bear Stearns reiterates BUY rating and ups price target to $140 from $130 after GSPN acquired iCompression Inc., in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $390 mln. With DSL rapidly being deployed worldwide, revenues are now expected to grow 70% sequentially in Q2 and 300% for fiscal 2000 year over year. With the acquisition, GSPN gains access to iCompression's hardware and software intellectual property as well as proprietary compression algorithms.
